#BB@tHome DIY Instruments .jpg

BB & GB@home work this week. We are looking to create our own homemade marching band and we need the young people to make their own instrument from whatever you can find lying around. Even parents and particularly former Pacemakers Alumni members could have a go at this !  Don't worry it does not need to work, although good if you can get some sort of sound from your creation ! There are lots of ideas if you use any internet search engine and YouTube is pretty useful. ( One possible link: )  The challenge is being sponsored by our own marching band "The Pacemakers" and there will be a prize for the best Boy and Girl. Be creative and colourful and have some fun. Who can build the biggest! We would love a picture and if possible a 5 second video of them marching with their instrument on the spot. These are best sent to our Facebook inbox

Attention all former members of The 13th Bromley Boys' Brigade

We are currently updating all our contact details for past members. We already keep in touch with over 170 Alumni. If we don't have your e-mail address and you would like to be kept up to date with our 13th BB Brigade news and events, please message us with your email address to our inbox on Facebook, or via our website.

29th April 2020:

We launch our very own 13th Bromley Boys' Brigade YouTube Video Channel for everything relating to our 70 plus years existence. Lots to share, but we start with the classic Boys' Brigade National recruitment video from 1974. Featuring our Boys and shown in cinemas at the time. It was this film: "The Pacemakers" that set the name for our marching band. Were you in it!  Please ensure you subscribe as we need 100 to be able to get our own unique YouTube web address. For now just click on the YouTube app. or the image below:
